Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Margie moved out to Edmonton and started her education in Nutrition, at the University of Alberta. Unsure of what she wanted to pursue, she took a job in a Montessori school as a TA (Teacher Assistant).

Having a natural love for and ability to connect with children, she quickly advanced her career and began working as an EA (Educational Assistant). Finally finding something she was enthusiastic about, she took it upon herself to find a mentor to work with and learn from.

Now, looking towards her own future, she has partnered with Christine to open their own school, Just Montessori Inc.
